Zoo and Utah... I think they're the same thing!

JD has become a master at the sippy. Sometimes he tries to drink it while it's on the ground, I'll try to get a picture of that! He's also standing on his own for a few seconds at a time.

I tried to get a good pic of his new teeth coming in on the top, this is as good as it got!

Another messy face shot - cookies!

My sister and her hubby went on a 100 mile bike ride (don't ask me why anyone would want to do that) so I went down to watch her kids. The girls and I walked over to the grocery store to get treats. JD and Charlotte got to drive the cart. They were also giving away free cupcakes! Hooray!! On the way home I stopped in Logan at Gossner's to get cheese curds and flavored milk. YUM!!

On Friday I took a big group that I was babysitting to the zoo. All 8 of us piled into my dad's Tahoe. It was fun! It wasn't too hot so the animals were all out. JD really didn't want to sit still for a picture.

Well, it was another crazy week of babysitting! I had quite a few extra kids last week. This week has calmed back down. Last night we got JD's one year pictures!! I can't believe my baby will be one on Thursday!! I can't wait to get the pictures back. We took him a little cake to squish in, and he didn't let us down! He had it everywhere! Usually kids poke a little to explore, but JD just dove right in. We're going to get another one for his little party and record it. He also got his first birthday card in the mail yesterday (thanks great grandma & grandpa Fitzgerald)!

GRASS FINALLY!!!!

After almost 3 years in our home we decided it was finally time to bite the bullet and get grass. Seed doesn't do well in our soil, so we opted for sod. We don't have a sprinkler, so we'll have to water ourselves, but it'll be soo worth it!

After!!! We used 14 pallets(8,500 sq/ft) of sod. It took us 12 hours with the help of about 10 neighbors. Kyle and I were so sore after doing that all day. He was laying, and I was loading the four-wheeler; so my top half was sore and his legs were sore. We used every scrap of sod, and it was the perfect amount, and Kyle had guessed on the amount!

It's been a (crazy busy) while...

I'm not really sure what JD is eating here, but he enjoys eating just about anything he can get his hands on!

JD is getting really good at cruising the furniture. He hasn't started taking steps by himself, but I'm sure that will happen soon.

Another messy face picture, we have quite a few of these!

This picture was taken at my grandma's house. We went down the the blessing of my cousin's baby. I met Kyle in Logan on his way back from his business trip to Arizona.

The huge bathtub in my bathroom makes a great playpen while I'm getting ready in the morning. I'll just have to make sure JD doesn't figure out how to turn on the water!

Eating is such hard work!

These were taken at my friend's house after the blessing of her baby. This is JD's new spring church outfit. What a good looking baby!

I guess I'll summarize the last few weeks. I've been crazy busy with babysitting! Kyle and a friend went down to Arizona on a business trip. Kyle became an Independent Marketing Executive for Melaleuca. He was sick of getting laid off, so he wanted to create some residual income. He's doing really well, and achieved the status of director on his trip. We got to be recognized at the new product launch last week, it was pretty cool! We're hoping to make it to the convention in August in Florida. It'll be hot, but it will be a great vacation! Now, for JD, he is a very fast crawler and cruiser of furniture. He is getting into everything! He babbles and yells all the time. He always picks times when he's supposed to be quiet to be the loudest (church and while I'm on the phone). He's cutting his front teeth and a top eye tooth. That'll make 6 teeth total. In 2 weeks he'll be one! Time has sure flown! We'll get his next professional pictures done and have his doctor's check-up.
